Joining the Board of Directors in 2021, Steve Johnston brings with him years of experience working with the young men of DeMolay in Arizona, and he has witnessed the remarkable impact that the Arizona DeMolay Foundation has on the members. 

 

Steve has been a dedicated supporter of DeMolay, having started his journey as an advisor for the Glendale, Arizona Chapter and later serving as Chapter’s lead youth advisor as well as the Chapter’s Chairman. Steve took that experience and began moving up DeMolay in Arizona’s ranks by taking the position as the Director of State Officers before stepping into his current role leading DeMolay in Arizona. Steve also serves as the DeMolay representative for the Arizona Grand Lodge Youth Committee.

 

Steve has had experience as a scholarship committee member, as well as serving as a trustee for Glendale Lodge. Through his service to DeMolay, he has been awarded the Cross of Honor, Advisor of the Year, and has received the Honorary Legion of Honor.

 

Along with his extensive background in working with youth, Steve brings to the Board of Directors over 30 years of retail management experience, as well as two years of banking services. It is his goal to utilize his wide variety of experiences and talents with his passion to ensure that the young leaders of DeMolay are provided all that they need to reach the highest level of success.
